WordPress website design & support

A professional website you can confidently manage

I create clear, modern WordPress websites for small businesses, charities, organisations and individuals — designed around real goals and built with the block editor so they remain straightforward to update.

What I can help with

New WordPress website, refresh or ongoing support

You may need a completely new website, a careful refresh or simply help untangling something that has become difficult to manage. We can start with where you are now and agree a sensible scope.

New WordPress websites

Planning, page structure, design and build using flexible WordPress blocks.

Website refreshes

Improve an existing site’s layout, consistency, usability and content without rebuilding more than necessary.

Ongoing support

Practical help with pages, posts, forms, analytics, SEO foundations and day-to-day changes.

A practical process

How we’ll work together

A good website starts with more than choosing colours and writing a few pages. We first work through what the site needs to achieve (visitor actions), who it is for (your audience), what content you already have and what needs creating. I then plan the structure and sketch out the main pages before moving into the WordPress build. You’ll see the site develop in stages, with time to review and refine it as we go. We’ll also agree how future updates and ongoing maintenance will be managed.

My focus is on clear navigation, readable content, sensible mobile layouts and a design that feels recognisably yours — without unnecessary complexity.

Plan

Clarify the goals, audience, priorities and existing content, branding and practical requirements.

Structure

Plan the navigation and create simple wireframes for the key pages.

Build

Turn the plan into a responsive WordPress website and refine it with you, in manageable stages.

Launch

Check everything carefully, go live and agree how future updates will be managed.

What your WordPress website design project might include

Page planning and navigation; WordPress block design; responsive layouts; contact and enquiry routes; basic search engine optimisation (SEO); analytics connections; accessibility-minded typography and colour; and guidance for future editing.

Every project is different, so the final scope and price are agreed before work begins.
